Would you like to help us out on the new Documentary Series....  "The Hard Stuff"

The series takes an informed and very personal look at some of our most challenging social problems. In the series I set out to find out what is going on, meet the people working on the coal face, show what the reality is for those who are facing these social problems first hand, look at possible cause and effect, and try to find some answers, both big and small. We want the series to increase awareness, understanding, be solution focused and maybe even increase social responsibility. I'll be trying to figure out what's really going on, what's driving the problem, and what the solutions might be.

Over the coming months I'll be posting more information here about the kinds of people we're interested in talking to for the different episodes, and I'll be regularly posting information on Facebook and Twitter. In the meantime here's where we're up to right now...

Just when you could be forgiven for thinking that the beige brigade have won, just when many of us were on the verge of giving up and abandoning the field to the kind of people who really do think it isn't safe for kids to climb trees and poke each other in the eyes with sticks, and just when you thought stimulating after school activities were mandatory, along comes a television show that flies in the face of 'conventional wisdom'.

The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show is the freshest thing to hit the world of parenting since someone first thought: 'Hey, what about instead of washing cloth nappies all the time, we made disposable ones you could just biff on some landfill somewhere? Sure they might take 10,000 years to biodegrade, but think about the convenience...'

Following the success of The Politically Incorrect Parenting Show, comes the next series from clinical psychologist Nigel Latta, focusing on the hormone-filled, angst-ridden world of the teenager. Are teenagers today that much more problematic than we were? How did our parents just get on with it yet we worry about every last little thing? Why do modern teenagers seem to think that the world really does revolve around them? And should parents worry about the technology they use, from social networking sites to non-stop texting. Nigel ponders these questions and more.

A third instalment of the hugely successful Politically Incorrect Guide series, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Grown Ups, presented by psychologist Nigel Latta, takes us on an investigation of adult life. Nigel explores the complexities of being a grown up – from the biggies – relationships, careers, money, family dynamics, arguments, self-improvement, growing old, and spirituality to the others – television, bad haircuts, health fads and being cool.

In the process, Nigel will provide some common-sense answers to the trials and tribulations that bedevil adult life. Once again a central focal point is Nigel's popular stage show – combined with animations, sketches, parodies, field stories, vignettes and archive. The field stories follow Nigel's journey of exploration to find information on what people do to navigate their way through adult life.In the process, Nigel will provide some common-sense answers to the trials and tribulations that bedevil adult life. Beyond the Darklands

beyondI thought it might be of interest to people to know some more about the process that goes into making Beyond the Darklands, and in particular the information that underlies the opinions I give about each offender.
The first step is always to get the consent of the victims and/or their families.
