Talks/Events in Your Area:

I have a number of  talks happening around New Zealand in 2012 -  these are listed in the events calendar below, some with final details yet to be advised.  Details and dates will be posted on this page once these are finalised so keep an eye out or sign up for our newsletter so we can let you know all details for events in your area as dates approach.

If you are wanting to contact us on behalf of a school/early childhood/organisation to arrange a parenting or  fundraising evening, unfortunately we are unable to accept any new requests for evening talks for 2012.  I am currently working on  a number of large projects. Any spare time between projects, we try and allocate to parenting/public talks . This spare time has now all been allocated, hence we are unable to accept any new requests for evening parenting talks for 2012

We're constantly being bombarded with people telling us that boys are in crisis, or girls are, or both. We hear an awful lot about the lack of male role models on boys, and the impact of pop culture on girls. We also hear a lot about Mars and Venus and all the latest 'brain science' which at first glance seems to be saying that boys and girls are so radically different we apparently come from completely different planets. What's really going on with our boys, and what's really up with our girls? In thisentertaining, thought provoking, and informative show Nigel will give you the answers to all this stuff as he takes the audience on a twisty turny ride through the business of getting boys and girls all the way through childhood, adolescence, and beyond, in a complicated world.

What makes the difference between winners, and losers? The psychology of success is a topic that generates a lotof hype, and a lot of self help books.
Is the answer to simply repeat "I'm a tiger" twenty timeseach morning?  Is it a high protein diet?  Is it harnessingthe cosmic powers of the universe to call success intoyour life?  Is it maybe beating the 'self sabotage' scripts inour heads which secretly work to keep us down?  In this address Nigel will look at the actual science to seeif in amongst all the modern hoop-de-doo there may beone or two pieces of information that are actually usefulin the business world.
